THE SEED NIGELLE
Khalid ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"In a move that we have undertaken, Ghalib Ibn Ahbar fell ill ... our return to Medina he was still sick.
Ibn Abu 'Atiq came to visit him then ... "You have to use the (al habba sawdâ) Black Seed", we he advised.
"Take five or seven seeds and crush-lez then insert the two [nostrils] patient with a few drops of oil.
'Â Isha (may Allah be pleased with him) told me he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
"This black seed is a cure for all ills, but the sam."
"What the sam? "Asked 'Âichah.-
"This is death. "Replied the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
"There in the black seed remedy against all evil, except against the sam."
